Bugatti Veyron The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined grand touring car, Designed and developed by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. The Super Sport version of the Veyron is the fastest street legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph).  2. SSC Ultimate Aero The SSC Ultimate Aero is an American-built mid-engine sports car by SSC North America (formerly known as Shelby SuperCars). The higher-performance limited production version previously held the Guinness Book of World Records record for being the fastest production car in the world.  3. Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo The Saleen S7 is a limited-production, hand-built, high-performance American supercar developed jointly by Steve Saleen for the initial concept and direction, Hidden Creek Industries for resources and initial funding, Phil Frank for the body and interior CAD design and development, and Ray Mallock Ltd. for the chassis engineering. Naturally aspirated V8 engine with 550 horsepower (410 kW). In 2005, the S7 was replaced by the S7 Twin Turbo, which featured a more powerful twin-turbo system that boosted engine power to 750 horsepower (760 PS/559 kW) and the top speed 248 mph (399 km/h).  4. McLaren F1 The McLaren F1 is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. Originally a concept conceived by Gordon Murray, he convinced Ron Dennis to back the project and engaged Peter Stevens to design the exterior of the car. On 31 March 1998, it set the record for the fastest road car in the world, topping at 231 mph (372 km/h) with rev limiter on, and 242.95 mph (390.99 km/h) with rev limiter removed.  5. Jaguar XJ220 – 227mph The Jaguar XJ220 is a mid-engined supercar produced by Jaguar in collaboration with Tom Walkinshaw Racing as Jaguar Sport between 1992 and 1994. It held the record for the highest top speed of a production car (350 km/h, 217 mph).  6. Ascari A10 The Ascari A10 is an automobile produced by the British company Ascari Cars that was conceived by Dutch millionaire Klaas Zwart.It is a road-going evolution of the KZ1-R GT race car currently contesting the Spanish GT Championship, with both cars penned by ex-Formula One designer Paul Brown. The A10 features a modified 4,941 cc (302 cu in) V8 engine producing 625 bhp (466 kW), delivered via a six-speed sequential manual gearbox, with a regular manual transmission available as an option.  7. Ferrari Enzo The Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari. It was built in 2002 using Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fibre body, F1-style electrohydraulic shift transmission, and Carbon fibre-reinforced Silicon Carbide, After a downforce of 7600N(1700lb) is reached at 300 km/h (186 mph) the rear wing is actuated by computer to maintain that downforce.  8. Lamborghini Aventador The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is a two-door, two-seater sports car publicly unveiled by Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show on 28 February 2011, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant’Agata Bolognese.  9. Aston Martin One-77 The One-77 will feature a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and a naturally aspirated 7.3 litre V12 engine with 750 hp (560 kW). Aston Martin claims that this will be the most powerful naturally aspirated production engine in the world when the car is delivered.  10. Noble M600 The M600 engine uses a 4439 cc 60-degree Yamaha-derived Volvo B8444S V8 engine which is also used in the Volvo XC90 and S80, but with twin Garrett turbochargers equipped with variable boost. This allows the user to choose from 450 bhp (336 kW; 456 PS) (Road setting, 0.6 bar pressure), 550 bhp (410 kW; 558 PS) (Track setting, 0.8 bar) and 650 bhp (485 kW; 659 PS) (Race setting, 1.0 bar) through the use of a switch in the interior.  11. Bristol Fighter T In 2006, Bristol announced the Fighter T, a turbocharged version of the Fighter with a modified Chrysler V10 producing 1,012 bhp (755 kW; 1,026 PS) and 1,036 lb·ft (1,405 N·m) of torque at 4,500 rpm. This also marking the first turbocharged petrol powered V10 production car.  12. Gumpert Apollo During April 2005 the Apollo made its racing debut in the Divinol Cup. This Apollo was driven by Belgian race driver Ruben Maes; he finished third on the Hockenheimring race track. Three years later Gumpert announced that they would enter a hybrid version of the Apollo in the 2008.  13. Lamborghini Diablo GT The Lamborghini Diablo is a high-performance mid-engined sports car that was built by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini capable of attaining a top speed in excess of 200 miles per hour (320 km/h). After the end of its production run in 2001.  14. Mercedes Benz SLR Mclaren The SLR features active aerodynamics; there is a spoiler mounted on the rear integral air brake flap. The spoiler increases downforce depending on its angle of elevation (angle of attack). At speeds above 95 km/h (59 mph) the spoiler/brake automatically raises to 10 degrees (15 in 722 edition), when demanded via the driver’s switch.  15. Ford GT The GT was produced in model years 2005 and 2006, with the first customers taking delivery in August 2004. The GT began assembly at Mayflower Vehicle Systems in Norwalk, Ohio and was painted by Saleen in their Saleen Special Vehicles facility in Troy, Michigan.
